Nobles and Ladies;
First let me take this opportunity to thank you for your confidence in me to elect me as the Potentate of Kerbela Temple for the ensuing year. The last 4 years seem like a blur to me in a way, yet they have been some of the most rewarding years of my life. This year my slogan is "On the Run, Helping Kids and Having Fun", and I feel that this is the reason Shrinedom exist. If we can continue to do these two things, I feel we have done a yeoman's job as Shriners. The Divan and I pledge our all to you this year, after all we were elected as your servants and to be good stewards of the Temple finances. We have had some great years at Kerbela for the past several years and it is my wish to continue this growth and financial stability. We have put together a great staff for this year with many years of experience and I thank them for their service. All I can request of you as Nobles and Ladies is that you continue to support "Your" temple and the programs and events that we have planned and that you keep the excellent attitudes that I know we are so well known for. Let's remember our obligations as Master Masons and "Let all private animosities if any unhappily exist give place to affection and Brotherly love". Thank you once again for electing me to this office and I pledge 110% of my efforts to make 2010 another great year for Kerbela Temple. In conclusion, if there are problems or concerns please bring it to my or any other Divan members attention so we can deal with them.
